My journey began at 18, when I found myself homeless and navigating life with a disability—on my own. Born at 21 weeks and living with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), I’ve spent my entire life facing and challenging systems that weren’t built with people like me in mind. That reality became even more apparent as I searched for stability after high school, only to find it blocked by inaccessible housing, discriminatory practices, and policy gaps that left too many people behind.
Each time I rebuilt, I paid attention. I saw firsthand how housing systems failed—not because people didn’t care, but because lived experience was rarely at the table. That’s when I realized real change wasn’t going to come from the top down. It would come from people like me—people who lived it.
That drive led me to found Spokane Mediation Services, where I offer practical, empathetic conflict resolution to tenants, landlords, and property managers who need a fair path forward. I’ve earned my National Certification in Mediation from the National Association of Certified Mediators and my Notary Public Commission through the Washington State Department of Licensing. I’m also pursuing my Real Estate Broker’s License, expected by late 2025, and certification as an ADA Coordinator.
But I’m not stopping here. My long-term goal is to become an attorney focused on real estate and housing law. I plan to complete a Pre-Law Direct Transfer degree by Fall 2026, earn a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a concentration in Economics, Law, and Public Policy at Gonzaga University, and pursue a Juris Doctor with a focus on Contract Law.
Everything I do is shaped by what I’ve lived—because I believe in a housing system where accessibility is non-negotiable, rights are enforceable, and everyone, especially those pushed to the margins, has a real shot at stability.
